The three founders of Trove Toy grew up in the same quiet and simple village. In our childhood, our parents traveled far from home to work hard for a living. We spent our early years in simplicity, deprived of delicate toys and colorful childhood fun, making joyful play a distant luxury. Our young days were plain and uneventful, until a beam of kindness lit up our entire childhood and shaped our lives forever.
In our childhood, a foreign teacher traveled across mountains and rivers to teach in our remote village. Following the footsteps of warm-hearted messengers who devoted themselves to rural public welfare a century ago, she brought new vitality and gentle warmth to our secluded countryside. She gifted each of us a tiny toy, the very first and most precious toy we had ever owned in our lives.
Those simple little gifts filled the emptiness of our childhood and served as a gentle key to unlock a wonderful new world. For the first time in our lives, we experienced pure, unfiltered joy and received sincere kindness from a stranger. This heartwarming gift from afar has been deeply cherished in our hearts and remained luminous for decades.
As we grew into adults and middle age, life and workplace pressure gradually surrounded us. We are caught in busy work, trivial life and constant anxiety, often feeling tired and tense. After experiencing all kinds of life, we deeply realized that everyone, no matter a child or an adult, needs relaxation, comfort and simple happiness.
We never forgot the warmth bestowed by the volunteer teacher in our youthful days, which healed our barren childhood. To pass on this kindness and healing power, the three childhood friends reunited and founded Trove Toy.
“Trove” means a treasure house of precious memories and love.
The toys we received as children were the treasures that brightened our youth. Now, we hope to pass this warmth on to the world. We design and create toys not only for kids to enrich their childhood, but also for stressed adults to release pressure, relieve anxiety, and return to a state of peace and innocence.
